Security Expert

Help VINify run a security program that banks and other regulated institutions can trust, through our SOC 2 audit and the vendor reviews that come with every new customer. Reports to the CEO.

What you will do

  • Run and improve security controls across our AWS environment, identity provider and code repositories.
  • Own vulnerability management: scanning, patching and documenting any exceptions.
  • Prepare evidence for our SOC 2 audit and keep our controls passing.
  • Answer security questionnaires and due diligence requests from banks and other financial institutions.
  • Review access regularly and keep it least-privilege.
  • Help maintain our incident response plan and security awareness training.

What we are looking for

  • Hands-on experience securing cloud environments, ideally AWS.
  • Working knowledge of SOC 2 controls and audit evidence.
  • Experience answering vendor due diligence questionnaires for regulated institutions.
  • Clear written documentation. Auditors and customers read what you write.
  • Nice to have: fintech or financial services experience, and a recognized security certification.

Process

How we hire

  1. Apply by email. Send your résumé to info@getvinify.com. We review applications against the role’s written job description.

  2. Talk with us. A short introductory call, then a deeper conversation with the person the role reports to.

  3. Agree on the role. You review and acknowledge the role’s written responsibilities, including its security responsibilities, before you start.

  4. Secure access first. Before any system or data access, you sign a confidentiality agreement and complete our security awareness training. Training repeats every year.
